Description

CBD COMBINED/SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This proposed action is for Microfilm/Microfiche Reader/Printer. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION ; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. (ii) Supplies are: CLIN 0001: Four (4) Microfilm/Microfiche Reader/Printer with Universal Carrier 6E, Two (2) different zoom lenses, PC Interface Kit, Adaptec SCSI 2 Interface Kit with cable, Imaging Professional Software, Greyscale Memory Board, Footswitch, Technical support for installation and training, 1 year warranty. NOTE: Microfilm/Microfiche Reader/Printer shall meet the following characteristics: Film Formats: Universal w/ interchangeable Carriers, Film Types: Must be able to accept both negative and positive images of silver or diazo 16mm/35mm roll/cartridge microfilm and microfiche, Minimum Operating Speed: Advance and capture one frame image within 7 seconds, Scan Modes: Monochrome or Grayscale, Exposure Control: Automatic, Software Compatibility: Compatible with Adobe Acrobat and Kofax Ascent Capture Screen: 12?x12? (300mm x 300mm), Imaging Scanning: Digital Scanning at 400 Dots Per Inch, Imaging Rotation/Focusing/Zooming: Automatic or Manual Exposure Controls, Multiprint: Preset up to 99 prints, Standard Interface: Video Printer Interface; Automatic/Manual Image Polarity Detection, PC Interface: SCSI 2. (iii) Place of Delivery: Pentagon, Washington D.C. 20301. Delivery will be ASAP but no later than January 30, 2003. (iv) Closing date/time for receipt of quotes: January 14, 1004, 4:30 P.M. (v) This solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-18, effective December 11, 2003. (vi) The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 333313 and the corresponding size standard is 1000 employees. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program does not cover this procurement. (vii) DFARS 252.212-7001 are applicable to this requirement. The following clause is applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-5 entitled Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. The following FAR Clauses within the aforementioned clause are being selected as applicable: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-19, 52.225-1, 52.225-15, 52.232-33. (xiii) There are no additional contract requirement(s) or terms and conditions necessary for this acquisition that are consistent with customary commercial practices.
