Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District has a requirement for the above subject. This is not a Solicitation Announcement nor a Request for Proposal and does not obligate the Government to any contract award.The purpose of this sources s ought is to determine interest and capability of potential HubZone or 8(a) Small Business concerns to perform as prime contractors for this project. Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make an appropriate procurement decisio n. It is requested that you review the Brief Scope of Work below. If you can meet ALL of the requirements for this project, please respond to me by Fax (409) 766-6372 on or before January 20, 2004. Attn: Kenneth Adams. 1. Name of firm w/address, phone, fax, e-mail address and point of contact. 2. State experience/references with this particular type of work. 3. State whether your firm can provide Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond. 4. Please indicate whether your firm will submit a bid for this project if this project is set aside for Hubzone or 8(a). PLEASE reference Jetty Walkway in submitting your response. BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:The work consist of removal and replacement of stringers, decking, handrail, and steel angles for pile caps for the Jetty Walkway and installation of a steel security gate. The estimated completion time is 90 calendar days. The estima ted contract price range for this project is between $250,000 to $500,000.
