Description

DESC: 5340-00763-2465,Part Number 5-19-1827, The item to procure is a Cap, Protective, Dust, and Moisture for the M2A2 Air Purifier. The Cap is made of rubber, type RN415 BF1, 0.0120IN thick. Length: 8.360IN; Width:2.000IN; Height:0.500IN. The Cap ha s (2) openings measuring 1.440IN DIA and (1) opening 1.340IN DIA. Basic contract requires purchase of 2,239 Caps with five option periods of additional purchases up to 13,100 Caps. Total estimated value of contract is $92000.00. Proposed contract is restri cted to 100% Small Business Set Aside contractors and will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. First Article Testing (FAT) is required but contractors maybe eligible for wavier of FAT. Contractors must meet ISO 9001:2000 standards. FOB is Destination. E stimated issue date is 30 January 2004. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by a ccessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in f act unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to resp ond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of it. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the i nternet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposals are instructed to request it by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available) , Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet.
