Description
The Connecticut Army and Air National Guard requires an indefinite quanitity contract for design of repairs, alteration, and new construction projects at National Guard facilities statewide. Anticipated services include the full range of type A, Typ e B and Type C services. The scope includes preparation of project books, statements of work, environmental studies, environmental impact statements, field surveys, investigative and concept services, preparation of design documents, cost estimates, econo mic studies, reports on various mechanical and electrical systems, pavement systems, roof systems, utility systems and environmental and safety problems, every type of technical capability will be required, availability may be in-house or through a subcont ract consultant. The A-E must be willing to accomplish numerous small projects with fees in the $10,000 range in addition to various larger projects. The services will be performed under an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract with numerous i ndividual fixed price delivery orders reperesenting different projects. The total amount of the contract shall not exceed $2,000,000 per year. The evaluation factors in order of importance are as follows: 1. Professional Qualifications 2. Specialized E xperience 3. Capacity to perform the work in the required time. 4. Past Performance 5. Geographical Location and knowledge of the locality 6. Volume of work perviously awarded by DoD with the objective of effecting an equitable distribution of D0D contract s. Participation by all size firms is welcomed. The anticipated start date is June 2004. The contract period is 12 months and there will be an option to extend the contract yearly for an additional 4 years, totaling 5 years potentially. This is not a re quest for proposal. Interested firms must submit Standard Form 330 directly to the Contracting Office listed in this announcement.
