Description The United States Marine Corps (USMC), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Battlespace Management and Air Defense Systems (BMADS), PM Radars is sponsoring a Radar Industry Week to be held 10-13 February 2004 at Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC) Auditorium, 3300 Russell Road, Quantico VA 22134. On 10 February 2004, BMADS Radar Project Officers will brief to all interested parties the next generation of radar systems being developed to support the Marine Air Ground Task Force Commanders requirement to be lightweight, expeditionary, and more capable. Specifically, the PM will spell out the planned development and delivery strategy for the Highly Expeditionary Long Range Air Surveillance Radar (HELRASR) and the Ground Air Tasked Oriented Radar (GATOR) Program. GATOR is a single material solution for the Multi-Role Radar System (MRRS) and Ground Weapons Locating Radar (GWLR) requirements. Agenda Date: 10 February 2004 Time: 0800 ? 1600 Description: Government Briefs to Industry ? A detailed agenda will be provided under separate attachment Date: 11 ? 13 February 2004 Description: Time is reserved to provide industry with an opportunity to meet with the Government on a one-on-one basis to brief their approaches, strategies, questions and concerns on how they propose to provide acquisition support for that program. The Marine Corps panel will consist of MARCORSYSCOM, Marine Corps Combat Development Command (MCCDC), Marine Corps Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA), and Marine Corps Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC). Visitors will be required to sign in at the MCCDC Building. Please allow time to access Quantico Marine Corps Base gates due to security procedures. Visitors will be required to show identification. Administrative Information Fifty minute briefing time slots will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Vendors are allowed two fifty-minute blocks (maximum) to complete their briefs. A third fifty-minute block will be coordinated with interested vendors, after 30 January 2004 based on availability of open time slots, on a first come, first serve basis. Due to the availability of timeslots, vendors are asked to consolidate multiple corporate submissions into their maximum allotted time period. Foreign vendor participation will be based on approval of releasibility of information. Reservations for foreign participation in Radar Industry Week will not be accepted after 23 January 2004 due to time required to process releasibility requests with Headquarters, Marine Corps.
