Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Modified Commercial Item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); the number is W15P7T-04-Q-C609. This acquisition will be processed non-competitively under authority 1 0 U.S.C. 2304????(1)/FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), Only One Responsible Source to CK Power, St. Louis, Missouri 63132-1712. The U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) intends to procure the following item: Engine, Diesel, NSN 2815-01-350-2207, P/O MEP-804 15kw Tactical Quiet Generator (TQG), and a Quantity of 73. Shipments are to be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance FOB Source. The items will be shipped to the New Cumberland Facility, New Cumberland, PA. Packaging and packing shall be in accordance with Military Standards. Delivery shall be within 90 days after contract award. The government will accept incremental deliveries. Provisions and Clauses applicable to this acquisition are as follows: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror s ?????? Commercial Items (NOV 1999), no addenda included; FAR 52-212-3 ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications ?????? Commercial Items (OCT 1999) and Alternate I (OCT 1998); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ?????? Commercial Items ( APR 1998), no addenda included; FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Orders ?????? Commercial Items (JAN 1999), for Paragraph (b) the following clauses apply: (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), and 22; and DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (SEP 1999), for Paragraph (b) the following clause applies: 252.225-7001; FAR 52.227-01, Aut horization and Consent (JUL 1995); DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Notification (MAR 1998); Full text of these Provisions and Clauses may be obtained by accessing following website: http://farsite.hill.af.mil.
