Description

This acquisition is for ninety seven (97) Purge Device, NSN: 5885-01-246-6815. Subject contract will be sole source to Northrup Grumman Corporation, Electro-Optical Systems, 12024 Forestgate Drive, Dallas, Texas 75243, as the Government does not hav e in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to purchase this part from any other current source. The part number is 5007665. This is not a request for bids or proposals but may serve as notice to interested organizations. Delivery will be to Tracy, CA. Previous procurement history is available and will be provided upon request. The U. S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the Interactive Interagency Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) web site to allow ele ctronic transmittal of Request for Quotes (RFQs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and Sealed Bids, from CECOM to Industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send, and receive information from the IBOP at (ht tp://abop.monmouth.army.mil). Registration for a user and password will be necessary in order to access this webpage. Please contact the IBOP Help Desk, toll free at 1-888-414-BOXX (6277) for any technical assistance with the IBOP. Packaging and packing shall be IAW the contractor`s best commercial packaging, ASTM-D 3951-98. Bar code markings are required IAW ANSI/AIM-BC1, USSC39 and MIL-STD-129. See note 22.
