Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for research on the use of eutectic blackbody sources to servce as fixed-points for the radiance temperature scale. The detailed statement of work will be issued with the Request for Quote (RFQ). The period of performance is 4 months after receipt of the order. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business (NAICS 541360, SIC 8713, and $4M). See Numbered Notes 1 and 26. An order will be placed on the basis of the best value to the Government with past experience, past performance, qualifications, and price factors considered. The RFQ will be made available via the Internet at Http://www.fedbizopps.gov/, on or about January 6, 2004, and will only be available via the Internet at the web site identified. Potential quoters are responsible for accessing the web site. There is no written RFQ available and telephone request will not be honored. Quoters are required to direct all questions via e-mail to Joan.Smith@nist.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
