Description: This procurement is for a solicitation resulting in the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the complete construction of the upper loop bathhouse building at the Mortimer Campground on the Grandfather Ranger District, McDowell County, North Carolina. The Contractor is required to furnish all necessary materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and labor to complete the scope of work for this project. A pre-bid conference and a site visit are tentatively scheduled for January 13th, 2004. The Government's estimate is between $100,000 and $500,000. The soliciation will be posted on January 7, 2004 and the proposals will be due by 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, on February 6, 2004. Offerors are required to submit bids and experience questionnaires for this project. The NAICS code for this project is 236210. This procurement will be solicitated as full and open competition with no set-asides per the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
