Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, will be issued through ASFI/FedBizOpps as will any amendments threrto. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Fe deral Acquisition Circular 2001-16, effective 1 October 2003. This requirement for 65 each Power Supply, Single Phase Inverters, NSN 6130 01 439 1789. Inspection and Acceptance is at Origin. Deliveries are F.O.B Destination. Deliveries are within 60 da ys after receipt of award. CLIN 0002AA is for a quantity of 65. Delivery destinations will be New Cumberland Army Depot. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (OCT 2003); FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (JUN 2003)(a copy of this provision shall be completed and submitted with the offer); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Item (OCT 2003); and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (OCT 2003), along with the additional FAR clauses cited under paragraph (b) 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 29. This solicitation is restricted to Dimensions Unlimited, 4467 White Bear Parkway, Saint Paul, MN 55110-7626, offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. Published for subcontracting purposes only. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotia te with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discr etion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Response is due by 31 December 2003, at 12:00pm central daylight time.
