Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate a non-competitive contract with Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals, 100 Route 206 North Peapack, NJ 07977. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has a requirement for 10,000,000 vials of Depo-Provera and a like number of single-use auto-disable syringes and needles and four Sharps containers per carton for delivery from January 2005 through December 2005 with an option to purchase up to 20,000,000 additional vials during this period. The contract shall include four one-year options that will extend the contract through December 31, 2009. As Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals is the only U.S. FDA-approved source for the manufacturer of the inject able contraceptive Depo-Provera product, USAID intends to negotiate a contract with this organization on a sole-source basis.
