- Description
- The Government has a requirement for system safety engineering services with a specialty in software system safety engineering in support of various Weapons Systems. Tasking will consist of performing software and hardware system safety analysis across a variety of Weapons Systems. The analysis consists of analyzing systems for failure modes and effects; conducting Software requirements Hazard analysis; conducting a Software Design Hazard Analysis; conducting Software Code Analysis; recommending Software System Safety Testing areas; conducting Software safety testing; software change hazard analysis, developing a Preliminary Hazard Analysis; documenting the methodology used in performing the various analysis; writing reports; making recommendations; and supporting the Tactical Software Branch in dealing with Weapons System Explosive Safety Review Board (WSESRB) and Software Syst em Safety Technical Review Panel (SSSTRP) approval for Tactical Software projects. This support includes attendance at the SSSTRP and answering any action items the SSSTRP may assign. Accordingly, the successful offeror must demonstrate past performance that includes substantial experience and expertise in the technical areas these systems encompass in addition to detailed knowledge of the respective systems. It is anticipated that this effort will be for a five-year period. Contracts awarded are anticipated to be cost reimbursement, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contracts. The applicable NAICS Classification is 541330 and the size standard is $23M annual revenues.
