- Description
- The vendor shall provide a cross-cockpit collimated display system to be installed on the UH-60 and CH-47 flight simulation platforms. The system will be unique in its capability to deliver cross-cockpit collimated displays with options on an extended downward field of view designed specifically for helicopter applications. Advanced optical configurations and specialist manufacturing materials shall ensure that the products achieve the optimum visual performance. The optical components and mounting structures shall be fully integrated with the projection display systems, thus ensuring the highest attainable performance levels. Collimators The principal components of the collimator assembly are: CRT Monitor, Collimator comprising; BEAM SPLITTER with High Performance anti-reflection coating, COLLIMATING MIRROR and ENCLOSURE to hold all components in position The collimator assembly shall be a steel fabricated assemblage that allows the mirror, beam splitter and monitor to be mounted in the correct position to each. The assembly shall maintain a light tight environment. CRT monitors shall be installed to interface to collimator assembly. This shall enable the display to cover the full spectrum of requirements to meet the simulation and training requirements. The Collimator Assembly shall provide overall the following characteristics: Full color imagery Eye safe light source Full field of regard coverage High reliability monitor Rugged construction Minimal maintenance Field-proven performance Mechanical Structures and light tighting Full motion compatibility Interfaces to the UH-60 / CH-47 simulator types Comprehensive technical support, spare part sales, repair services, technical training, as well as 24 hour world wide emergency services shall be offered as part of the requirement. Delivery and acceptance will be made as stated below. The vendor shall provide a one-year warranty on all hardware delivered. The vendor shall state the conditions of the warranty and the process and timeline for handling a warranty repair. Acceptance shall be made at destination upon delivery. Delivery shall be made FOB Destination. The following listed clauses may be downloaded from the following website: http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 252.2121-7001. The following evaluation criteria shall be used as addenda to FAR 52.212-2(a): (i) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement (subfactors: N/A); (ii) price; and (iii) past performance. Technical and Past Performance, when combined, are equal when compared to price. For Past Performance Evaluation Criteria, see the provision at FAR 52.212-1, (b) (10). The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5(b) apply: (1), (5)(i), (7), (9), (15), (16), (17), (18), (19), (29). The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5(c) apply none. The following clauses of DFARS 52.212-7001(b) and (c) apply: 252.219-7003, 252.225-7007, 252.227-7037, 252.243-7002,252.247-7023 A completed copy of the following must be included with each quote: FAR 52.212-3, DFARS 252.212-7000.
