- This is a small business set aside, sole source procurement, based on FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source from BBX ImmuneEngine. SPAWAR, San Diego, California has a requirement for a security software solution that will protect all Windows based computers from security threats. The technology must be compatible with all Windows systems (Windows 95, 98, 2000, 2003) and be adaptable to single users as well as in an enterprise environment. The required technology must runs as an independent O/S layer. It can not modify the existing structure of the PC/Server system and not violate any existing Microsoft warranty. The software must analyze the PC/Server and provide a ?defense umbrella? over the entire computer, no matter how the computer is configured. The provided software must detects and prevents any unauthorized program, virus, and/or malicious mobile code from affecting the computer. The security technology must detect and prevent the unauthorized copying of authorized programs and unauthorized modifications to the PC/Server. It must detects, prevents and responds to unauthorized program installation or modification originating from internal (including misbehaving or compromised software) and external (including users, administrators and all input devices) sources. The software must provide very short latency for reporting of unauthorized activity to the desktops of one or more security administrators. Both desktop/PC and Server software must automatically erase unauthorized code anywhere on the system and can restore system and OS executables of the PC/Server to its original configuration. Must provide the capability to be integrated with existing Network Management products such as Tivoli, CA UniCenter, HP OpenView, SMS as examples. Must be able to be configured to allow automatic updates from independent vendors while maintaining constant protection to the computer/network. Vendor should provide the capability to manage multiple nodes on a network from a management console. This console must be able to receives a near real-time signal on all authorized updates and performs an automated analysis of authorized updates to determine isolated events vs. trends and automatically summarizes all program installation/upgrade activity in a real-time environment. BBX is the only responsible source as their software meets the program?s requirements. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes.
