- Description
- The purpose of this modification is to add (1) language regarding a classified briefing for the sensors area, and (2) language regarding contractor services, as follows: In order to fully assess the processing capabilities of the various sensors proposed for use in the NCR region, JTAMDO has decided to provide high quality UHF band data sets to interested contractors in order for them to demonstrate the maturity of their signal processing. A classified meeting is scheduled for the 27th of January, 2004 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Lincoln Laboratory, S-Building, Room S4-550, to delineate the particulars of this exercise. All interested submitters, who possess or have access to classified processing facilities, are invited to send a maximum of three people per company to this meeting to learn more. Organizations wishing to send representatives should register via Visitor Control, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, 244 Wood Street, FAC ID: 3G050, Lexington, MA 02420-9108, Phone # 781-981-7118, fax # 781-981-5588. Registration requests are highly encouraged to be submitted by 14 January 2004, but should be received not later than 24 January 2004. The Government may use the services of Computer Science Corporation, ADC, Inc., System Planning and Analysis, Holmes-Tucker Intl., SDS International and SDS personnel in an advisory role for the technical evaluation of proposals. The exclusive responsibility for evaluation remains with the Government. Representatives of the foregoing firm(s) participating in the evaluation process will sign a non-disclosure agreement in order to highlight the sensitivity of the evaluation process and to protect any proprietary information within the proposals. Submission of a proposal constitutes permission to release the proposal to the identified firms for evaluation purposes.
