- NAICS Code: 334516 THIS IS A SYNOPSIS FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED. Additional specifications/information and a copy of the RFQ are available at the following website: http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. The solicitation number is UKX075, and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This quotation is being solicited using full and open competition. A firm, fixed-price purchase order is anticipated to result from the award of this solicitation. The Government has a requirement for a USED/REFURBISHED mass spectrometer with the following features: a. Mass range of 10-4000 amu, b. MS inlet that will allow use of non-volatile buffers, c. Electro-spray ionization probe assembly, d. Computer with appropriate hardware and software to control LC/MS data; computer must allow MS to interface with a HP1100 HPLC system, e. 6 month warranty f. installation on site Athens Georgia, g. familiarization training in conjunction with installation. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer is the lowest priced offer meeting all of the technical requirements/salient characteristics. All offerors are to include with their offers a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items and the following additional FAR clauses which are cited in Clause 52.212-5: 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity, 52.222-35, Central Contractor Registration 52.406-7 , Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.222-41, 52.233-3 Protest after Award, 52.222-3 Convict Labor, 52.222-19 Child Labor--Cooperation with Authorities & Remedies 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities.
