- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA9301-04-T-0010. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06 and Defense Acquisition Change Notice (DCN): 20020426. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is Z199. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332323 and the size standard is 500 employees. Place of delivery and acceptance is Edwards AFB, CA with F.O.B. Destination. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement for the following: CLIN 0001, one (1) galvanized welded wire room complete with roof within facility #1414. The brand name "Galvanized Welded Wire Room" shall be delivered and installed at the Facility #1414, Edwards Air Force Base, California. The structures must meet the following salient characteristics; STRUCTURE SIZE; 32 feet wide X 16 feet deep X 8 feet high. WALL MATERIAL; The room shall be constructed of 8-guage galvanized steel sections welded in a 1 1/2? X 3? rectangular pattern. Wall sections shall be attached to the concrete floor using 7? X 2? X 1/4? 14?gauge steel mounting plates welded to posts. DOORS; Two each sliding doors with cylinder door locks and keys shall be located on the east wall of the room. INSTALLATION; The room shall be physically attached to the existing bonded storage area at Facility #1414 site. CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (MAR 2001). The following provisions and clauses apply: 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
