Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Edinburg, TX, intends to issue a sole source contract to the company Better World Manufacturing. The procurement is for (4500) four thousand five hundred plastic insect traps consisting of four (4) major parts: The top, bottom , plug holder and hanger. The top must be made out of a clear acrylic polymer resistant to U V light and most chemicals with a thickness of . 080 in. The bottom must be yellow and made out of precolor polypropylene homopolymer resistant to U V light and most chemicals. The hanger must be made out of hard 12 GA non-rusting galvanized wire. The contract will be a firm fixed price, FOB destination and is being handled as a commercial item procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.3020-1. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The NAICS code is 326199.
