NOUN: FAIRING, AIRCRAFT, NSN: 1560-01-432-4849, P/N: 70215-42403-063, QTY: 124 each, applicable to the UH-60 Aircraft. Approved source is Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., 6900 Main St., Stratford, CT 06615-912 9, (CAGE 78286). F.O.B. Origin with delivery to DEF Dist Depot Red River, Receiving Bldg. 499, 10th Street & K Avenue, Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. Required delivery is 25 each, 345 DACA, with 25 each thereafter per month, until completion. The proposed co ntractor's unique qualification for fulfilling the contract requirements are based on Acquisition Method Reason Code 3M, assigned by AMCOM Breakout Engineers. Breakout Engineering has assigned Acquisition Method Code (AMC) 3, which states, Acquire, for th e second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. Acquistion Method Suffix Code (AMSC) M, states, The manufacture of this part requires use of master or coordinated tooling. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitation by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualificati on Procedures for Aviation Requirements.
