Description
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is issuing a solicitation for the purpose of requesting proposals for the repair of the 4'x4' tandem outlet gate. Principal features of the work include: the removal of the horizontal trash rack prior to installing the Government furnished bulkhead; provide and install a new hydraulic system that operates the 4'x4' tandem outlet gate; removal, repair, paint and reinstall the 4'x4' tandem outlet gate; grout piezometer piping and terminal box; remove the bulkhead from the auxiliary outlet works intake structure; and reinstall the trash rack on the intake structure. The work is located approximately 40 miles east of Farmington, New Mexico, in San Juan County. This is a HUBZone set-aside competed procurement. A mandatory site visit will be scheduled and the date will be listed in the solicitation. The work will be performed under NAICS Code 237990. The contract will be firm-fixed price and falls within the price range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Approximate date of solicitation issuance is December 24, 2003. This solicitation is deemed "SENSITIVE" and may only be obtained by submitting a written request.
