YOU MAY FAX OR MAIL YOUR REQUEST. **TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE HONORED** (EMAIL: michael.childers@redstone.army.mil ) SYSTEM: AVENGER, PRON: D14F0015, Nomenclature: Optical Sight Cable, NSN: 1430-01-298-3540, PN: 8922-2900, Qty: 32 each. One (1) each first article required for testing. Destination to be furnished. Delivery Schedule 210 days after contract award. 90 days for production of first article, 30 days testing and 90 days for delivery of production quantity. Delivery Schedule without first article, 90 days after contract award. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent u pon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Offerors must be approved and qualified. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire these items from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Suggest, that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Request for quotation will be issued to Recon/Optical, 550 W est Northwest Highway, Barrington, IL 60010-3094 (Vendor Code 11871). The most recent representative unit price and quantity relative to this acquisition is NSN: 1430-01-298-3540, Award date: 27 Apr 1999, Qty: 38 each, Unit price: $1,409.00.
