Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference Solicitation GS05T04BQ0003. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-17. This RFQ is issued under Full and Open Competition. NAICS Code: 334111. Size Standard: 1,000 employees. Requirement is for each of the following Panasonic items and quantities: (1) CF-73 P-M 1.4GHZ (CENTR), 13.3 TRANS TCHXGA, 256 64VRAM, 40GB DVD/CDRW 802.11B, W2K; Fifty Each (2) 3 Prong AC Adapter for all EXCEPT CF-50, Fifty Each;(3) Battery charger for CF-28/48/50/72/18, Fifty each; (4) Battery Pack F/CF-73, available May 2003, Fifty Each; (5) Comfolio Universal Black fits all Panasonic Toughbooks, Fifty Each. The products shall be Section 508 Compliant. Deliver to Department of Homeland Security. EDS/INS Staging; 3636 Pennsy Drive, Suite ? D3 (SLA #ISDS-03-0120), Landover, MD 20785; Attn: Mark Bertha. Required delivery date for all required products listed above: no later than December 30, 2003. Execution of the basic requirement is contingent upon fund availability. FAR 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition. 52.212-1(b)(4): Offerors shall submit existing product literature in lieu of unique written technical proposals. FAR 52.212-2 shall not apply to this acquisition. Award shall be made based on lowest-price, technically acceptable proposal. Proposals shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3. FAR 52.212-4 applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition -- 52.212-5(b): The following additional FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-36; 52.222-37, and 52.232-33.
