Description

This is an amendment. Standard Format Item number 17 is hereby modified to read: "Consultation, research, training, development of training material and collaborative writing in support of the National Threat Assessment Center. Period of Performance will commence on the date of award and include four option periods. The anticipated award date is December 17, 2003 or earlier, as appropriate. A sole source contract with the National Violence Prevention and Study Center (NVPSC), 1770 Massachusetts Avenue #114, Cambridge, MA 02140, is intended. This procurement will be conducted utilizing procedures other than full and open competition for the acquisition of the required services under the statutory authority provided for in 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) because these services are available from only one responsible source and no other type of service will satisfy the requirements of the United States Secret Service. Though synopsized through the GPE, the solicitation will not be made available through the GPE. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the preparation of responses to this announcement."
