Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source contract extension of 6 months to the incumbent contractor Consolidated Engineering Services of Arlington VA. The services are for the operation and maintenance of the facilities and equipment at the Harry S. Truman Building (formerly Main State Building) and other DOS (Department of State) facilities in the greater Washington DC area. DOS has a need for the contractor to provide uninterrupted services that are vital to ensure accomplishment of the DOS mission and ensure compliance with operational requirements. The authority is FAR 6.302. This is a contract bridge extension to allow the Government time to process and evaluate responses to the full and open competition solicitation SAQMPD03R0004 that has been published in FEDBIZOPPS.
