Description

The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement of commercial Liquid Nitrogen (LIN), NSN 9135-00-854-0493, Type II, Grade A, IAW MIL-PRF-27401D dated 3 Oct 95, as modified in the Statement of Objectives. This is in support of Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID. The contractor shall provide all production, raw materials, supplies, management, tools, equipment and labor necessary for the manufacture and delivery of Liquid Nitrogen from the contractor?s facility. The LIN is to be delivered FOB Destination into customer owned tanks. The resultant award will be for a 4 year 8 month (56 months) firm fixed price requirements type contract. The estimated annual quantity is 182 tons per year for contract performance period 1-4, and 120 tons for contract performance period 5. If a HUBZone Offeror responds, the HUBZone price evaluation will apply if the proposal meets the parameters of the FAR. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 12 Nov 2003 and posted to the FEDBizOpps web page (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). A hard copy of the solicitation may be requested; however, only written, e-mailed, or faxed requests for the solicitation requested directly by the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
