Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are bei ng requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SIC is 7011. This solicitation serves as the Request for Quotation for lodging services in the Yuma AZ area. Scheduled time frame is: Item 0001: Lodging for 29 military personnel at Marine Co rps Air Station Yuma AZ from 4 Jan 04 to 29 Feb 04. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. All responding sources must include their approximate distance, in miles, to the front gate of the Air Station. Provisions at FA R 52.212-2, Instructions to Offers-Commercial and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items apply. Award will be based on the best value to the Government, which includes room rate, room tax rate, extended stay facilities such as in-roo m refrigerator, coffee port, microwave, telephone w/data port, iron/ironing board, on-site restaurant, and reasonable commuting distance to and from Air Station. The Government reserves the right to shift lodging dates and/or cancel completely NLT 5 days prior to the start date. Payment shall be based on occupancy only. Offerors need to include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer (registered in the Central Contra ctor Registration, DUNS Number, Cage Code, and Tax ID Number). The statement at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statues of Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers are due before 1600, 10 Dec 200 3.
