Description

NA The US Army Research Laboratory (ARL), Sensors and Electon Devices Division, Adelphi 20783, intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Unaxis USA, Inc. 10050 Saint Petersburg, FL. 33716. This contract is for one year to cover the repair and mainenance, including parts and materials, for six (6) existing Unaxis USA, Inc. tools at the US Army Research Laboratory (ARL), Adelphi, Md and would include 4 options for each succesive year. This procurement is being conducted u nder Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received on or before the response date indicat ed in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone requests will be honored. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to RMAC-Adelphi@arl.army.mil with the solicitiation number referenced in the subject line. See numbered note 22.
