- Description
- The proposed contract is anticipated to be sole source to 170 System Incorporated (8630) to provide all necessary management, supervision, personnel, labor, materials and equipment. The contractor would be responsible for providing the following: Software Maintenance & Support services for the USCG enterprise-wide 170 Systems Inc. software licenses. This shall apply to any and all releases of new software produces including but not limited to product replacements, product substitutions, product up-dates, developer tools, cartridges and utilities; Software Updates and Bug Fixes: Provide update and bug-fix versions of the supported software products when they become available and also provide telephone support to assist the CG in installing the software update. The contractor shall employ commercially reasonable ?best efforts? in providing prompt bug fixes; Telephone Support Hotline: The contractor shall provide a Coast Guard designated voice-mail system that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to accept problem reports. The contractor shall provide Coast Guard personnel a call back within four (4) hours of receiving a problem report, during the hours of 0900 and 1700 Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. For problem reports received after regular work hours, or during weekends, the contractor shall provide a call back within four (4) hours of the next business day; Dial-In Diagnosis: The contractor shall provide computer dial-in support to designated Coast Guard?s information technology systems to diagnose and assist in the resolution of problems. The Coast Guard will provide modem dial-in facilities and standard PC remote access software to affect this activity; Monthly Progress Report: The contractor shall provide a monthly progress report in accordance with CDRL A001; Technical Support Analyst: Upon Government request, the contractor shall provide a Technical Support Analyst to diagnose and resolve problems. The contractor shall provide a Principal Site Contact that shall be knowledgeable in the USCG?s installation and use(s) of the 170 System Inc. products, as well as past and current support issues; Customer Support Manager: The contractor shall provide a Customer Support Manager that shall be responsible for addressing issues that the USCG designates as not adequately resolved. The Customer Support Manager is responsible for assigning/reassigning Primary Site Contacts to the Coast Guard. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 9 December 2003. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 11 December 2003. The anticipated award date will be 15 December 2003. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Note: The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, source under the authority of FAR 6.303-1.
