- Description
- The VA Medical Center Dayton, Oh has a Design Build requirement for Historical Renovation of the Protestant Chapel floor and foundation structure, Building 118. The Contractor is to provide, but not be limited to providing labor, materials, tools, equipment and Design Build Services necessary for design and construction. The work involves investigation, evaluation and correction of the existing structural problems. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS code) is 236220. The small business standard is $28.5 million (average annual receipts for 3 preceding fiscal years). This acquisition is unrestricted and open to both large and small business concerns. All concerns submitting proposals shall have experience in historical renovation and knowledge of the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) requirements. This work does not include, windows or painting, only the floor and its foundation structural supports to include carpet & tile replacement. The solicitation package will be available on or about November 26, 2003. The date for receipt of proposals is December 30, 2003 11:00 A.M. E.S.T. THE ONLY SITE VISIT WILL TAKE PLACE DECEMBER 3, 2003 AT 10:00 AM, EST, NO EXCEPTIONS. There is a NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE OF $10.00 for the solicitation documents. Payments must be in the form of a Cashiers Check or Money Order made out to the Agent Cashier. No e-mail or telephone requests for bid packages will be honored. All requests must be in writing on the Firm?s letterhead and contain a point of contact, the solicitation number, phone and fax numbers and payment. The estimated cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. A bid Bond in the amount of 20% will be required. The awardee will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the awarded price. THIS SOLICICTATION IS ISSUED SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
