Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6., as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. Q5284040009 is issued as a Request For Quotes (RFQ) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed price Order for Commercial Items, using simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423490; the size standard is100 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25. The solicitation items are as follows: Line Item 1--Qty sixteen (16) of the Hyrdolab Minisonde 4a Multiprobe P/N MS4a, which includes temperature, RS232 and SDI-12 dataformats, weighted sensor guard, calibration and storage cups, manual and maintenance kits; Line Item 2--Qty sixteen (16) of the Graphite Specific Conductance sensors for minisonde; Line Item 3--Qty sixteen (16) of the Internal Data Logger with memory and battery pack for minisonde; Line Item 4--Qty One (1) of the Calibration cable 1 meter with DB9 connector, Seacon connector and military connector that connects to SV4a charger cable; Line Item 5--Qty one (1) shipping charges (if applicable). FOB Point: Destination-Everglades National Park, Attn: Supply 40001 State Road 9336, Homestead, Florida 33034. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination. This form may be requested from the Contract Specialist by FAX or e:mail. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in the offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers.
