Description

NA This pre-solicitation notice is being issued to inform industry that the US Army CECOM is preparing to solicit for Aircraft, Rechargeable, Nickel Cadmium Vented Battery Group, Harnesses and cells. The government intends to award up to four Indefinite Deli very/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts, each five years in length from this solicitation and will be based on the Best Value to the government. Offerors do not need to propose for all four battery groups to be eligible for any single award. Offerors may not submit proposals for battery chemistries other than that called out in the actual solicitation. Offerors may not propose multiple solutions to any specific solicitation requirement within a given proposal. The solicitation and all related documen ts will be posted on the Interagency Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) under the solicitation number. The due date specified in this notice will be overridden by the due date specified in the final solicitation once issued. All documents are in draft fo rm and will remain so until the solicitation becomes final. Potential offerors interested in this acquisition should download the Draft Executive Summary first in order to gain an understanding of the Government?s acquisition strategy prior to downloading the remaining documents. Potential offerors are also responsible for monitoring the IBOP on a regular basis for any updates to the solicitation. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive informa tion from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Upon accessing this web-page, click on CECOM Business Opportunities. Registration for user-ID and password will only be necessary for submission of proposals to CECOM through the IBOP and is required.
