Description

NA : The Invitation for Bid (IFB) W912DW-04-B-0004 has been canceled and is reissued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) W912DW-04-R-0009. Firms must re-register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to receive notification about amendments. Any questions regarding this solicitation should be addressed to Kevin Mulvihill at K evin.T.Mulvihill@nws02.usace.army.mil. The Seattle District has a requirement for a Request for Proposal (RFP). The purpose is to construct a new fire/crash rescue facility, approximately 1500 square meters, with reinforced concrete footings, foundation, and floor slab, structural steel frami ng, precast concrete wall panels, metal roof decking, and preformed metal roofing panels, fascias, and trim. Includes building mechanical and electrical systems, communications/computer management system, site utilities, pavements, and site improvements. Demolition and debris removal of existing fire station is included. Period of Performance for this project is 360 calendar days. Proposed procurement will result in award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The North American Industry Classification Sys tem (NAICS) Code is 236220 and the Standard Industry Classification Code (SIC) is1541 with size standard of 28.5 Million. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in electronic format only. No disks will be mailed. Firms must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to receive notification about amendments. The solicitation will be available for download on o r about 26 November 2003.
