Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for lodging of soldiers supporting the Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Initially 5 rooms are required for 39 nights (195) for the period of 20 January 20 04 to 28 February 2004. Then there is a requirement for an additional 29 rooms for 38 nights (1102) for the period of 21 January 2004 to 28 February 2004. All rooms must meet the following requirements: Queen size bed, refrigerator and microwave in the room; breakfast buffet must be available and meeting facilities available. The following provisions are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-2, FAR 51.212-3. The following clauses are applicable to the resultant contract: FAR 52.212 -4, FAR 52.212-5. The fill-in versions of provision FAR 52.212-2 and clause 52.212-5 may be attained by emailing: virginia.miller@epg.army.mil. The award will be made to the contractor whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous using the criteria in FAR 52.212-2. We anticipate awarding a purchase order as a result of this solicitation. All responses to this sysnopsis/solicitation shall be s ubmitted electronically to virginia.miller@epg.army.mil no later than 2:00p.m. MDT on 24 November 2003.
