Description

This is a sources sought notice only. This is for market research only. Please respond if your firm has access to personnel who can perform these duties in a remote location in Alaska. The Government is trying to determine if there are personnel available to perform this type of work at Fort Greely, Alaska. The personnel would have to be already located in Alaska, or willing to move to the location at their own expense. If your firm recently responded to a sources sought notice please note the additional information. If your firm can respond to the additional information please send a notice via email to: Jennifer.Stewart@gsa.gov, if you have questions please call the Contracting Officer: Catherine Holland, 360-769-7198 Description: Computer Specialist responsible for achieving required levels of information assurance for all information systems. Responsible for a variety of actions pertaining to accountable material including material receipt, inventory, transfer, accounting, destruction, preparation of reports, safeguarding and security. Develop and issue security procedures and protocols governing network operations. Conduct reviews of threats to and vulnerabilities in the network. Coordinate with law enforcement elements for monitoring and collection of information on intrusion or misuse. Ensures Systems configuration management . Coordinate and monitor periodic indoctrination and training sessions. Thorough knowledge of security accounting and material.
