- REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 13,092 rentable square feet of office and related space in Sarasota, Florida. The rentable space must yield 11,384 usable square feet and in addition, nine (9) on-site, designated parking spaces, are required. An additional 65 parking spaces must be available within two blocks. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located in Sarasota, Florida within the following delineated areas: NORTH: University Parkway; SOUTH: Clark Road; EAST: Lakewood Ranch Boulevard; WEST: Beneva Road. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than December 31, 2004. If new construction is being offered, space shall be provided in a building that offers a set back from roadways, public parking and other property boundaries of at least 50 feet. LEASE TERM: Term is 10 years, 3 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges, after 3 years. OWNERS/AGENTS: To submit a location for inspection, please contact the following office.
