Description

NA This is an unrestricted procurement. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the J. Bennett Johnston Waterway Regional Visitor Center, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Caddo Parish. Principal features of the wo rk include, excavation, backfill, asphaltic concrete parking lot, concrete paving and curbs, drainage system, concrete sidewalks, site furnishings, exterior signage, seeding, exterior planting, exterior lighting, concrete block retaining wall, fire detecti on and alarm system, closed circuit television system, landscaping, irrigation system, security system, complete visitor center building and appurtenances, visitor center exhibits and associated work, providing as-built drawings (both blueline and electro nic), using the Government-furnished software (RMS) for electronic exchange of information and management of the contract (See Section 01312 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM), and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,0 00.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/ and on COMPACT DISC (CD) at no charge.
