Description
NAICS Code: 333415 This requirement will be processed in acordance with FAR Part , "Acquisition of Commercial Items". This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 333415 . The size standard is 750 employees. The contractor shall deliver a packaged air-conditioning unit for cooling, heating, dehumidification, and air-cleaning. The packaged air-conditioning unit shall include a mixing box with manual dampers, pre-filter, DX (direct expansion) 295,000 BTUH coil, SCR (silicon-controlled rectifier) 50 kW electric heat, 6500 CFM (cubic feet per minute) supply fan, carbon filter, post filter, HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filter, compressor, and water-cooled condenser. All internal controls shall be via factory programmable logic controller. Unit construction shall consist of an all-welded structural steel base, an extruded aluminum tube framing system, and double-wall insulated panels for walls, floor, interior partitions, and roof. The packaged air-conditioning unit shall be delivered F.O.B. to: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, High Bay Building, 109 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27711. The packaged air-conditioning unit shall be received not later than 16 weeks after award of the contract. The packaged air-conditioning unit will be installed and commissioned by an EPA on-site contractor or subcontractor. Detailed specifications will be furnished with the RFQ. Requests for the RFP must be submitted via e-mail to hennessey.mike@epa.gov no later than 10 days after publication of this notice.
