- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F1MWR132730700 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16, Effective 31 Oct 03. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 484210 (Size Standard is $21,500,000.00). The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN) for the relocation of fitness equipment, office furniture etc. from Bldg 1548 to Buildings to be determined with some of the equipment being reconfigured for use and some being stored.<br><br> Quotations that do not include prices for all Requirements will not be considered. Period of performance is stated in the Statement of Work. IAW FAR 52.237.1, Site Visit, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where installation is to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. A Site Visit is scheduled for 13 November 2003 at 1:00 AM. All interested parties should call Sara Denis at 781-377-2030 to submit individual and company names of attendees, and for directions to the Site Visit. <br><br> The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. Evaluation/Award will be made to the lowest price, responsible offeror with an overall past performance evaluation of Very Good or better. Offerors are required to submit at least three recent references for evaluation of past performance of same or similar services or items. FAR 52-212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items (all offerors shall include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal); FAR 52.212-4- Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, [in paragraphs (b) and (c) the following clauses apply; FAR 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52-222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-41, 52.222-42, (Wage Grade Laborer WG-2, Step 2, $11.08 per hour and the Wage Determination 1994-2255 (Rev 21) applies and 52.232-33] Also included are DFARS 252.204-7004.
