Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Agilent Technologies, 2850 Centerville Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Agilent Technologies has been identifed as the only one authorized to offer a full protection plan for the following equipment: 2 GC/ECD Instruments, HPLC System and 1 GC/MS and 2 GC/EI/NCI Instruments. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government for future procurements. Any interested firm should submit in writing, its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the services. If no affirmative written response is received, the purcase order with 2 one-year options will be awarded based on this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, 1756 Federal Building, 601 E. 12th Street, Kansas City, MO 64106, ATTN: Jennings, by close of business 13 November 2003.
