Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W9127Q-04-T-0002 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Cir cular 2001-17. This is a 100% small business set-aside; NAICS is 334290 and size standard is 750 employees. Line item 0001: Multi-Channel Voice Logging Recorder System, 1 Kit. This system will be used to record air-to-ground conversations primarily in concert with the General Dynamics/CSTI AccessNet System. All parts are brand name or equal. To be acceptable for award, an equal item must meet the following characteristics: 1) Seamless interface with the General Dynamics/CSTI AccessNet system through a high-speed T-1 Digital Signal Processor (DSP); 2) Twenty-four channels of simultaneous live monitoring and/or playback; 3) Non-proprietary hardware that uses commercial off-the-shelf open, standards based replacement parts; and 4) Ability to record voice data to DVD media. Specific components are the following Stancil Corporation brand name or equal: 1) Twenty-Four Channel Single DVD T1 Terminating Server System; 2) Multi Channel Playback, all channels with software to allow password-authorized users to playback multiple channels simultaneously in real time; 3) CD-R-RW Drive Integrated for downloading recorded audio; and 4) Services, non-personal: furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, testing, transportation, plant and supervision necessary to install the system at the 255th Air Control Squadron, 312 47th Street, Gulfport, MS 39507-4313.
