NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W9127Q-04-T-0003 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Cir cular 2001-17. This is a 100% small business set-aside; NAICS is 334290 and size standard is 750 employees. Line item 0001: High to Low Impedance Adapter, 100 Each, Mason Electric Company brand name or equal, part no. CENC74B-03VC. Item is brand name o r equal. To be acceptable for award, an equal item must meet the following characteristics: 1) One end must connect to high impedance frequency microphone communication cord in gas mask, model no. MBU-19/P; 2) The other end must connect to low impedance frequency voicemitter, model no. MXU-835/P; and 3) Must convert high impedance frequency in gas mask microphone to low impedance frequency. Delivery on or around 21 March 2004 to 172nd LRS/LGS, 141 Military Drive #8, Bldg 104, Jackson MS 39232-8881; FOB Destination. The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; evaluation criteria are price and technical conformance to specified characteristics. The provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Jun 2003) Alternate I (Apr 2002), applies to this acquisition and a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any offer.
