Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Grace Industries, Inc., P.O. Box 1225, Owings, Maryland 20736 for the procurement of: (1) Vehicle and Personnel Tracking and Emergency Alert System fo r the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Europe District (Wiesbaden, Germany) and (2) Employee Monitoring and Notification System for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Fort Hamilton, NY. The components of (1) are: Packet Data Terminal (PDT) 15 Sets with MR -900 Micro Receiver, T-Pass II and Applicable wiring kit; 6 sets of GeoFleet Software; 16 additional T-Pass II units; two T PASS 3 Units. The components of (2) are: 1 Command Base LCD T3 (includes base station and applicable software); 15 units of T PASS 3 Evacuate-Temperatur e Sensing Systems and 2 Micro Repeators. Delivery of this equipment is scheduled on or before September 30, 2003. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract award will be made on the basis of this notice. This notice doe s not constitute a solicitation document. Requests for such documents will not be considered. However, all information received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether t o conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. T he North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 421690, with a size standard of 100 employees.
