Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (i) The solicitation number is F43SFS318155 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (ii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-13. (iii) This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 334119 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement consists of 11 line items: Line Item 0001- Projection Display: NEC 61? Plasma, smart technology plasma overlay, Sony DVD/VCR SLV300P, projection. Line Item 0002- Routing/Interfacing: Smart Technology Xport, RGB109 XI Interface, Under Desk Mount Kit, RGB164xi Interface. Line Item 0003- Control: 4? Color Touchpanal, Netlinx Integrated Controller, Volume Controller, Power Supply. Line Item 0004- Audio: Ceiling Mount Speakers White, Amplifier. Line Item 0005-Racks: Smart Technology Lectern. Line Item 0006- Miscellaneous Equipment and Accessories: Wall Mount Brackets, Remote Keyboard/Mouse. Line Item 0007- Hardware: Hardware, Cables, Connectors. Line Item 0008- Engineering and Programming. Line Item 0009- Project Management, Pre-installation, Installation. Line Item 0010- Service Contract. Line Item 0011- Freight. All items will be the brand noted by the product listed or of equal properties. FOB shall be destination, and shipping should be included in the unit price, and a total price shall be provided. The contractor shall annotate the delivery time after receipt of award (in days). The provision FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The provision FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Paragraph (a) of FAR 52.212-2 is added to read, ?lowest price technically acceptable.? The contractor certifies that it meets all requirements by submitting a quotation. The provision FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The contractor shall return a completed copy of this provision with its quotation. A copy of the provision may be obtained from http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (o) is changed to read: The contractor shall provide all standard commercial warranties to the government. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses identified at paragraph b of FAR 52.212-5 are considered checked and is applicable to this acquisition: (11-16), (19i), (19ii), (21), (24). Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system to be eligible to receive this award. The registration site is http://www.ccr.gov. Commerce Business Daily numbered note 1 applies to this acquisition. The solicitation due date is 28 September 2003, 4:00 PM EST. THIS IS CURRENTLY AN UNFUNDED YEAR END REQUIREMENT.
