- The purpose and intent of this solicitation is to secure the services for tree lifting and processing seedlings at the J. Herbert Stone Nursery, Rogue River National Forest. Lifting includes hand pulling of tree seedlings from seedling beds and packing the seedlings in transportation tubs. Seedling processing includes grading, pruning, counting, packaging of seedlings, and sweeping of cull seedlings into cull chutes. An Oregon Farm/Forest Labor Contractor?s License and a Migrant and Season Agricultural Workers Protection Act Registration Number are required for this project. Issue O/A October 8, 2003. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. Hard copies of solicitation will not be available.
