Description

The U.S. Department of State intends to enter into a sole source contract with Environics USA, Inc. The only known source that can provide the requirements of the needed equipment is the ChemPro 100 Handheld Chemical Profiler W/SAK that is manufactured by Environics USA, Inc. The requirements requested are compact portable Chemical Warfare agent detectors that shall detect both chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals. The detectors must have the functionality of the following: the ability to detect toxic industrial chemicals and materials; continuous real-time measurements; easily upgradeable chemical libraries; audible and graphical alarms; (5) weigh less then 2 lbs.; user friendly graphic interface; low life cycle operating costs; no expendables; and the device must also be able to be powered by standard AA batteries or rechargeable AA batteries. No solicitation document is available. Telephone responses will not be accepted.
