Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation DAAD16-03-R-XLZ0, for Fighting Load Carriage (FLC) with Zipper, Style 4117 (total quantity 39,700); 1 Quart Canteen with Utility Pocket Style 4015 (total quantity 79,400); and Hand Grenade Pouch Style 4103 (total qu antity 79,400). This is a 100 percent small business set aside procurement. The applicable NAICS Code for this acquisition is 314912 with a size standard of 500 employees. This synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpa rt 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement will constitute the only solicitation. A request for a hard copy of this RFP will not be honored. These items must be compatible with the standard U.S. Army Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) system. The Government will furnish a quantity of 79,400 M4 Double Pockets and a quantity of 79,400 Triple Magazine Pockets to the contractor for integration into the FLC beginning on or about 22 Novembe r 2003. Monthly shipments of 13, 233 for the M4 Double Pockets and Triple Magazine Pockets commencing 22 November 2003. Delivery of these items will be made to PM Soldier Equipment Staging/NET Facility, Warrenton, VA. All items shall be preserved, packa ged and shipped F.O.B. Destination in accordance with best commercial practices to the above location. Proof of delivery of each shipment shall be furnished to the Contract Specialist, Xinia Llovet-Zurinaga. Offerors are required to submit price per item, delivery schedule and representations and certifications. Offerors wishing to be notified of amendments to this combined synopsis/solicitation must send an e-mail to the e-mail address cited below. Pricing information, delivery schedule and representation s and certifications shall be submitted to: U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Headquarters Building 1, Attn: AMSSB ACC NM, Xinia Llovet Zurinaga, Contract Specialist, Kansas Street, Natick MA 01760-5011, no later than 12:00 noon EST on 25 September 2003.
