Description

The Air Force intends to award a sole source, FFP, commercial purchase order for non-personal services to upgrade, test and certify 28 Uniwest US-500 Eddy Current Instruments at Tinker, AFB, OK in accordance with the Statement of Work. The period of performance is estimated to be approximately 15 Oct 03 ? 30 Sept 04. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is not later than 14 Oct 03. The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to United Western Technology Corp, of Pasco, WA. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendation to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
