- Description
- The General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service, Region 3, Philadelphia intends to solicit through other than full and open competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 with NetIQ Corporation for the acquisition of renewal of license and support agreement for the following: 0012-MNT-I-US 10, 000 users, 0018 MNT-I-US 300 Users, 0024 MNT-I-US 5000 Users. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP), GS-03T-03-R-0021. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-11. NetIQ have provided proprietary software to the Defense Security Service making them uniquely qualified to provide the required technical support. The Defense Security Service has been tasked with providing maintenance support. The following licenses are required: 0091-MNT-I-US 4 each, 0024-MNT-I-US 1 each, 0018 MNT-I-US 1 each, 0012 MNT-I-US 1 each, 0073 MNT-I-US 2 each, 0090 MN-I-US 2 each. The period of performance is from date of award through 12 months. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (JUN 2002), with its offer. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (Feb 2002), is hereby incorporated by reference. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (MAY 2001), is hereby incorporated by reference; paragraphs and subparagraphs (a), (b) (1) (5) (12) (13) (14) (15) (20) apply to this solicitation and any resultant contract. GSAM (references can be found at www.arnet.gov/GSAM/gsam.html.) Clause 552.212-71, Contract Terms and Conditions Applicable to GSA Acquisition of Commercial Items (MAR 1998) is hereby incorporated by reference; clauses, 552.215-70, 552.228-70, 552.229-70, 552.232-70 apply to this solicitation and any resultant contract. Clause FAR 52.232-22 Limitation of Funds and 52.219-06 Notice of Small Buisness Set-Aside are incorporated by reference. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded.
