- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is contemplating award on a sole source purchase order to Aydin Displays, Inc. for the following requirement. (1) Four each, Monitor, Flat Panel, 20.1? flat panel, 19? rack mount 8U front controls 20.1 AMLCD, +/- 85 Deg view angle, shock, vibration, EMI, full EMI testing, full DIM to Zero OP, temp 0 to 50 Deg C, BNC and VGA HD 15 video connector, user controls: comes with mounting adapter plate for ATDC console P/N 354-7032-501. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quotation is N00253-03-Q-0319 which is ready for download on or about 17 Sept 2003 at this address: http://kpt-eco.kpt.nuwc.navy.mil . Select/click Request for Quotes, and N00253-03-Q-0319 will be listed with the list of available RFQ?s. This r equirement is to be FOB Destination ? Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345-7610 with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination with a required delivery date of 31 Oct 2003. Quotes/Offers are due no later than 27 Sept 03, 08:00 am Pacific Time. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) and applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-C9E. Firms interested in submitting quotes must (1) complete the pricing providing unit prices and extended pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the required clauses, ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov). This notice intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with Aydin Displays , Inc., as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of this RFQ/am endments will be mailed. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and may result in rejection. The solicitation document incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. This requirement is set-aside for Small Business with NAICS Code _334111___and size standard of __500____. The requirements are to be delivered by _31 Oct 03_____, acceptance to be at Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport , with FOB Destination. Responses shall be due no later than 0800 hours PT on 27 Sept 2003. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used for this procurement. Note 1 applies.
