Item 0001 NSN 2840-01-236-8353PR P/N: 5054M28G15, duct, component of the Augmentor Duct. The mixing duct encircles the AFT centerbody of the turbine frame and merges the hot gases of the core stream with the cold flow of the fan stream. Material content is B50TF14CL-A. Dim 39 dia. X 17.5. Material is inco718e. Applicable to: F110-100 Engine/F15 C&D acft. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: starting 31 Oct 2004 at 15 ea monthly. A quantity between 92 ea and 230 ea will be acquired. The actual quantity will be determined at the time of award at this time the Government?s BEQ is 184 ea. The following quantity ranges for pricing purposes will be solicited. (92-125 ea) (126-183 ea) and (184-230 ea). A First Article Contractor testing will be required for qualified sources not producing the item within the last 36 months. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. The approximate issue/response date will be 20 OCT 03. The anticipate award date is 15 DEC 03. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small bussiness concerns. Pre-qualified small business sources: CF Roark, Brownsburg, In 46112; Electro-Methods, Windsor Locks, Ct 06074, and Gentz Ind, Warren Mi 48089. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which if timely shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
